Ram, We, people, who are sitting in India, do see the change, change for the better, albeit slow.
Not going ahead with UID because it will be misused and corrupt people will make money is not reason enough not to do it. Now we have liquor ban in Gujarath. It is to prevent poor people drinking and ruining their families. Now, they say this is ineffective, because the trade goes underground; you get it anyway by paying more, illegally. But how much? 10%? The remaining 90% are saved. So is the case of corruption etc.; may be 10% or may be 20%. But large majority still obey the rules. And even the rule breakers, are progressively exposed, by a vigilant media, by internet etc.
So, I am not that pessimistic.
Love
