64 - What would UID do for him? 

Would he be declared non-existing in the  NPR ?

Dear Friends,

As I walked down Residency road, Bangalore, this afternoon [7 Aug 2010], I saw this fellow being. 

He has no fingers to enable fingerprinting. Iris scanners would not be available in ration shops.

There are several Lakhs of people like him eking out a living among us, largely un-noticed as people hurry about their daily business or entertainment.

I could not help wondering about our technology guys. Do they ever see such human beings, when they come up with their wonderful ideas of how by spending Lakhs of Crores of Rupees on
